Essex Tower condos come in three different layouts. The largest unit is a three bedroom, two bath followed by a two bedroom, two bath and one bedroom, one and a half bath. The larger three bedroom units are around 1,500 square feet while the two bedroom units are right around 1,225 and the smallest units are approximately 840 square feet in size. The building has been around since 1978 but most of the units are updated with tile or hardwood floors, granite countertops, updated bathrooms and impact windows. The building offers community laundry facilities but a select few units come with laundry hookups. If the units don't come with impact windows they are equipped with storm shutters to protect against a hurricane. Most of the units come with the advantage of the walk out balcony looking out over the intracoastal or ocean and sometimes both. Nothing beats just relaxing and soaking up a cool breeze at night after long day at the beach.

The Essex Tower Building is Clean and Secure

The Essex Tower has a lot to offer outside of its great units. The building offers the following amenities: Elevator, Exercise Room, Extra Storage, Heated Pool, Sauna, Library, Exterior Lighting, Trash Chute,  and even a Vehicle Wash Area. Not feeling like going to the beach but still want to lay out for a tan? Lounge by the community pool and get your tan on there just steps away from your unit.

The condo association does not allow leasing for the first year owned. If you are a "snow bird" looking to rent the place out while you are up north for the summer then you would need to wait until your second year of ownership to do that. If you plan on living in the condo year round then this rule shouldn't be an issue for you. This rule is to protect the building from having too many investors buy up the units. 

The building also comes with great security with secure elevators, security guards and cameras around the building. Having peace of mind that your unit is protected when you are not there makes things easier for people that do not live at their unit year round. 

Living in South Florida

South Florida is a great place to be. Whether you are just looking to relax on a vacation or you live here year round, South Florida has a lot to offer. Have a boat or like to go out fishing? There are a few places right around the corner from Essex Towers. The Las Olas Marina and the Bahia Mar Yachting Center are within two miles. The Bahia Mar is perfect for anyone visiting with a boat. It is attached to a Hilton Hotel and offers 250 slips that can handle vessels up to 300 feet long. No boat is too big!

Community Pool

Looking for a fun night out? Nightlife in South Florida is second to none. Between Miami and Fort Lauderdale there is never a dull moment. Public House, Tarpon Bend, Sobe Live and Rec Room are some great places to go out just to name a few.

Maybe you are not in the mood to go out partying all night but you would like to try a nice restaurant close by. Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, G&B Oyster Bar, Rocco's Tacos are all within two miles as well.
